Verse 1: We long for Leviathan to come and finally lead the way
Pre-Chorus: Because he promised he'd give us power. He promised we'd take control.
He promised we'd gain the world, all he asked for was our soul
What deceptions live in the heart of man? When your justice flows, what will it demand?
Chorus: Why do we always choose what leads to our demise? Give us Barabbas, crucify the king.
We run and hide behind the lie we're innocent, but each time we cry: Give us Barabbas
Verse 2: Give us a strongman, Goliath, that will dominate. No time for mercy, time to detonate with fire and vengeance
We will be great again, no need for compassion, that's just weakness in the end
Bridge: Father, forgive us, for we know not what we do. Overwhelm us with your mercy. Orient us back to you.
Chorus 2: In your mercy, please forgive, our rebellion that's cost a price, Father forgive us, restore us once again.
Expose the truth, unveil the lies, and lead us in lives of sacrifice

What have we become? We’ve become beasts.
Verse: We descend into our worst versions, debased, corrupt, depraved Yet, we think so highly of ourselves
Pre-Chorus: Hair like feathers, nails like claws — dehumanized when we want to be gods And so we learn to devour, consume — becoming beasts in field who are proud of our impending doom
Chorus: We were made to bear your image, yet we revel in our shame (becoming beasts in a field, while in our wallowing pride). We cannot stay this way, as we wander astray. Help us see, reveal what we've become
Verse 2 We consume what we believe we're owed, and take what was never ours Too self-absorbed, think so highly of ourselves
Bridge: Restore to me my sanity, that I might walk in humility

When you call a man, you bid him come and die
Verse 1: A crouching predator that waits outside, it waits for me. It seeks to be my master, it seeks to lure and divide my heart and fidelity to you. But my life is yours
Pre Chorus: So, take me through your refining fire, bring your life that comes only through death
Chorus: Put all to death that me leads to my self-destruction, keep me close don't let me stray.
Put all to death that promises life but leaves me trapped within a grave, a grave that you conquered me
Verse 2: The cross I'm called to bear is not a terrible end, but the start of a journey with a brother, a friend. Beauty from ashes come when I rest in what he's done. I give my heart and fidelity to you, for my life is yours
Bridge: When you call a man you bid him come and die

Verse: You created the heavens. You heal the sick and raise the dead (I know you raise the dead).
And though I want to believe, darkness clouds my vision of you
Pre-chorus: You gave your light to give my sight. You breathed your breath to give me life. Yet I’m longing still, to see your face. And hope your promise still remains
Chorus: Help my unbelief, give me faith to believe
That in the darkest of my days, it’s your grace that I need
Verse: You say you near me, that forsaken I am not (I know you raise the dead).
And though I believe, darkness clouds my vision of you
Pre-chorus:
You gave your light to give my sight. You gave your breath to give me life. Yet I’m longing still, to see your face. You're the my hope, Lord I believe
Bridge:
I lift my eyes to you, my rock and my salvation. I will honor you, my fortress and foundation

Verse 1: I never seem to trust when everything is alright, the calm before the storm means it just out of sight.
The pounding of the waves, the drama of that sea, the never-ending feelings of these anxieties
What's about to come, leaves me fearing what I cannot control. What will I become, when these we waves come and batter my soul?
Pre-chorus: Peace, its all we’ve wanted, but can we have it? It always seems the seas still rage
What are we, in the face of the storm? We have no power at all
Chorus: No matter when the storm descends, I can hear the quieting voice, “peace be still.”
I'll rest among the waves, won't fear they will drown, with your quieting voice.
-
Verse 1: You said through love we'd prove that we're your people, yet chasms divide us most days.
A fractured bond that shouldn't be but remains, reminds us without you that this severance stays
Pre-Chorus: Reveal what's true. Make clear the lies. Justice flow, come and cleanse the vile
Chorus: We are longing for redemption, the day when grief and fear will be no more.
How long must we press on, must we stand strong? Through the strife we'll keep our eyes on you, fix our eyes on you
Verse 2: Our hearts are broken over this division, and unity seems far away. But I am guilty of strife and discord. Help me to see where I have gone astray
Pre-Chorus: Search our hearts. Break our pride. Kill the sin, we often hide and make us righteous in your sight
-
Verse 1: From ashes we've comes, and to them I'll return.
I'm shadow and dust, but when I we learn: purpose and meaning, pursuits of the truth, a meaningless venture without you.
I measure my worth by the works of my hands, a hollow pursuit of a glory
Chorus: In the search for what I think I'm called to be (desperately striving to see) I lose of sight of who I am (Loved and accepted with the hope that I am free)
But all you've promised is what I've wanted all along. And I'll be restless, until my heart finds rest in you
Verse 2: Self-assurance is poison in my veins. Self-reliance shackles me in bondage, binds up in chains.
I reach for control, but its slipping away. The strength that I trusted, betrayed.
You're grace is sufficient, there's power in weakness For when I weak I am strong
Bridge: Thou hast made us for thyself, our chief end in you. We are not our own, but are yours body and soul. An endless rest that ends this restlessness

Verse 2: You're just, you're right, you’re true, ever since mother’s womb, I’ve turned, turned from you, from wisdom and your truth. It's against you, and you alone, you alone
